2023 Awards

The 2023 grantees include 48 visual art institutions across 23 states, with annual operating budgets ranging in size from less than one million to nearly $500 million. A total of $2.7 million was awarded in the 2023 grant cycle, with individual grants from $2.5K to $100k.
Applications were evaluated on the basis of both feasibility and impacts, and grants have been awarded in proportion to the scope and timeline of the project. All recipients track and report their energy use and greenhouse gas emission in Energy Star® Portfolio Manager. For more information, read the full 2023 press release.
